Single Poppet Emergency Shut-Off Valve
The Single Poppet
Emergency Shut-Off Valve is installed on fuel lines at the island surface
level in submersible pump systems. The valve is designed to prevent
spillage and other potential hazards in the event of a fire or impact to
the dispenser. Upon impact, the top of the valve shears allowing the
poppet to close and shut-off the product flow. In case of a fire, the
poppet will close as the fusible link melts, resulting once again in a
safe shut-off of product flow. The seat of the valve is positioned in the
lower valve body, which provides a liquid tight seal even if the top is
removed. The single poppet emergency shut-off valve features a low profile
design, rust resistant epoxy coated cast iron body and top, stainless
steel shaft and spring, UL Listed fusible link, 3/8" air test plug,
and allows for easy U-Bolt or stabilizer bar mounting. The Model 911C
includes a machined bottom for easy compression fitting connection to
secondary containment piping and Model 911T includes a 2" male
threaded connection on the inlet for secondary containment. All models are
UL Listed.
