8" Emergency Vent
For Above Ground Storage Tanks

PEMCO announces the addition of an 8" emergency vent to its series 28 for above ground storage tanks. Like the 4" and 6", the vent is designed to open at approximately 1 psi. It features a rust resistant epoxy coated cast iron hood, cast aluminum bottom housing, a 40 mesh flame-retardant brass screen and has a female threaded bottom.

Designed to keep vent risers safe and secure, PEMCO's vent riser frame simplifies your installation while giving it a more professional look. Constructed of a 4" x 4" square steel tubing, the risers are secured to the frame with two pre-formed unistrut brackets per riser (specify 2" or 3" pipe) which are provided with the frame. The entire frame is prime coated. The frame stands 16 feet high and is available in widths of 16" for a single riser, 24" for two risers, 32" for three risers and 40" for four risers. (Other sizes are available on request).

PEMCO's new monitoring cap and adaptor provide easy access to monitor equipment. The locking style cap provides security and is liquid tight. The cap and adaptor are made from cast aluminum. The adaptor has a Buna-N O-Ring and comes with a 4" NPT female pipe thread. The cap is equipped with either a 3/8" or 1/2" grommet that provides a liquid tight seal.

PEMCO's new model 31040PA adaptor is ideal for use on existing sites that do not have an available opening to install a tank monitoring probe. It eliminates the ened to dig down to the tank. Made from durable cast iron, the adaptor is installed between the vapor recovery adaptor and the riser pipe. The adaptor comes complete with plated steel eye bolt for hanging the probe and either a 3/8" or 1/2" grommet that provides a liquid tight seal. The adaptor will not interfere with the operation of the vapor recovery adaptor.
