The Pressure Vacuum Vent is used in vapor recovery applications to allow vapors to vent upwards in accordance with NFPA Code 30. The vent has a pressure setting of 8 oz. and a vacuum setting that does not exceed 1/2 oz. per square inch, to assure the appropriate pressure in the storage tank during filling and dispensing. The pressure vacuum vent features a cast aluminum body, flame-retardant 40 mesh brass screen and female threads for easy installation onto a 2″ vent pipe. The vent is also available for slip on installation, with set screws and gasket included (Model 26S).
